Vera Farmiga is an American actress, director, and producer. She began her career on stage in the original Broadway production of ‘Taking Sides’. Farmiga made her television debut in fantasy series ‘Roar’, and her film debut in the drama-thriller ‘Return to Paradise’.
She starts to gain worldwide recognition for her role in the 2009 film ‘Up in the Air’. She has won a ‘Los Angeles Film Critics Association Award for Best Actress’ and a ‘British Independent Film Award for Best Actress’ for ‘The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas’, as well as many other nominations.
