John McCain was born in the prominent military family at Panama Canal Zone in Panama.

McCain was not good at study. He graduated with bottom rank: 894 out of 899 people in his class.

His father and grandfather were the first father-son admiral pair in U.S. Navy. During the Vietnam War, John McCain Jr. commanded Pacific forces while John McCain Sr. was commander of aircraft carriers during World War II.
