Water is the most vital source of energy in the body. When your body is dehydrated, this causes enzymatic activity in the body to slow down, which means you become tired and fatigued.
Staying hydrated is very important for your energy levels, and water is the best source of hydration. You think that any liquid would hydrate you, but a lot of them have an opposite effect.
2. High Blood Pressure
Your blood is normally about 92% water when you’re fully hydrated. However, when you’re dehydrated, your blood thickens. This causes a resistance in the blood flow around your body, which equals higher blood pressure.
For a healthy blood flow, and reduced risk of any related issues/diseases occurring, it’s important to drink plenty of water.
3. Asthma & Allergies
When you don’t drink enough water, your body will restrict airways in an attempt to conserve it. In fact, the rate of histamine produced by the body increases exponentially as the body loses more and more water.
